Mission Viejo Community Foundation Accomplishments

• Donated $8,100 for Senior Citizen and disabled services programs
• Contributed $1,000 to the Mission Viejo High School Football Boosters
• Donated $1,000 to the Bob Hope USO Program at John Wayne airport for military use
• Contributed $5,000 for Social Service programs
• Donated $1,000 to the Wounded Warriors program at Camp Pendleton, CA
• Contributed over 20,000 volunteer hours are conducted annually
• Donated $1,500 to the Mission Viejo Nadadores Foundation
• Donated $40,000 annually to support Marines and their families and military veterans
• Food baskets were collected to support 325 Thanksgiving meals for the Marines and their families at Camp Pendleton
• There were 47 Marine families adopted for Christmas Holidays
• Over 1,200 Marines and their families are hosted at the Annual Marines Day at Lake Mission Viejo
• Over 750 toys are collected for the Christmas Holidays for the children of Marines
• Over 800 formal gowns for female Marines and wives of Marines are collected to wear at the annual Marine Corps Ball
• Monthly visits, donations and BBQ’s are held at the Wounded Warriors barracks
  Thousands of dollars have been distributed providing emergency assistance to Marines and their families
• Baby items for baskets for expectant female Marines and wives of Marines are collected
